China and Pakistan are linked by mountains and rivers and shared with a common destiny. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1951, no matter how the international and regional situation changes, the two countries have always understood, trusted, respected and supported each other. The relationship between our two countries is a good example of state-to-state relations. In April 2015, Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a historic state visit to Pakistan, during which the two sides upgraded their relations to an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, opening a new chapter in the development of China-Pakistan relations.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) proposed by President Xi Jinping, and the launch of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). In the past decade, CPEC has become a vivid demonstration of our all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, and has laid a solid foundation of building a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.

I am honored to serve as ambassador to Pakistan during this important period, and am deeply aware of the important responsibilities and glorious mission upon my shoulders. I am willing to work with friends from all walks of life in China and Pakistan, by implementing the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and Pakistani leaders as the guiding principle, building a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era as the main line, and promoting high-quality development of the CPEC as the major platform, to continuously consolidate, deepen and expand China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperation, and better benefit the two countries and our peoples.

The Chinese Embassy and myself will make all our efforts to provide you with good services, and hope the website will serve as a window for promoting China-Pakistan friendship and a bridge for enhancing people-to-people connection.
