Ambassador Liu Jian addresses the Pak-China Business Forum

Chinese Ambassador Liu Jian attended the Pak-China Business Forum and delivered a speech. In his remarks, Liu said that the bilateral trade volume between China and Pakistan has amounted to $ 10.6 billion in the year of 2011, with an increase of 22% compared with previous year. China has become Pakistan's largest trading partner and source of imports, and the fourth largest export destination. To further develop the economic cooperation, the Ambassador also raised several suggestions, such as to strengthen pragmatic cooperation in energy, agriculture, infrastructure and other fields, as well as enhance people to people exchanges.

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology of Pakistan Mir Changez Khan Jamali also addressed the function. The four-days Pak-China business forum exhibition ended on April 18, which was organized by COMSATS Institute of Information Technology.
