Ambassador Liu Jian Briefs Uyghur Compatriots on the 18th CPC National Congress

On November 16, Chinese Ambassador Liu Jian met with the head and representatives of Uygur community in the Ex-Chinese Association in Pakistan.

Ambassador Liu Jian gave an introduction to Uyghur compatriots of the main content and spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress. He said, China's 2011 gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 47.3 trillion yuan, and the Communist Party states that we should double its 2010 GDP and per capita income for both urban and rural residents. China and Pakistan are linked with common mountains and rivers. He hoped that Uyghur Compatriots can seize the opportunity of China's rapid development, engage in the development of the motherland, and make contributions to the economy and China-Pakistan friendship. The Chinese embassy will always serve for Chinese Uyghur in Pakistan.

Uyghur Compatriots appreciated Ambassador Liu Jian's briefing and the Embassy's long-term care and support. They are very proud of the development of the motherland. They would cooperate with the embassy to serve the Uyghur in Pakistan, work hard for a better life and make contribution to China-Pakistan friendship.
