Li Junru Gives a Lecture on the 18th CPC National Congress

On November 22, Li Junru, former Vice President of CPC's Central Party School, and Member of Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, was invited to give a lecture in the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad on the 18th CPC National Congress. The lecture was presided by Ambassador Liu Jian.

In his lecture, Li Junru, with his own research experience of the CPC's theory, elaborated on the significant content and spirit of President Hu Jintao's report at 18th Party Congress vividly and systematically. Li Junru stressed that the 18th CPC National Congress is very important in CPC's history. Hu's report is CPC's political declaration and guiding principle, which determines that the Scientific Outlook on Development, along with Marxism Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of Three Represents are all the long-term guiding ideology, and enriches the connotation of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The overall plan for promoting economic, political, cultural, social, and ecological progress of socialism with Chinese characteristics proves that our Party's understanding and practice of the laws of building socialism with Chinese characteristics have reached a new level. The two centennial goals adopt a grand blueprint of achieving a new success.

Participants responded enthusiastically. They said the lecture is informative and instructive, and will help them study, publicize and implement the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress. They would thoroughly study the report of the 18th CPC National Congress, effectively implement it in the diplomatic work in Pakistan.
