Asalam Alaikum!

It's my great pleasure to attend the Certificate Presentation Ceremony of Paksitan-China friendship Motor Cycle Rally. First of all, I would like to extend my congratulation on the success of this activity and admiration for your perseverance and courage.

It impressed me very much for the All Pakistan-China Friendship Association to adopt an original approach, organize this motor cycle rally and spread the seeds of China-Pakistan friendship along the way from Lahore to Islamabad. All of you can be regarded as the backbone and strong engine of the China-Pakistan friendship. Your 300-kilometer long and arduous travel annotates the deep emotions between China and Pakistan. Motor rally is like a planter, sowing the seeds of China-Pakistan friendship along the way and showing the most beautiful scenery on the road.

Lahore serves as the starting point of both motor rally and China-Pakistan relations. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, especially during the days after the year 1965, China-Pakistan relationship has endured the test of mutable international and regional situations and grown stronger as the time goes by. China and Pakistan have become bosom friends, sharing weal and woes and supporting each other at critical junctures. The terminal point of motor rally is Islamabad, which represents the present status of our relations, vibrant and thriving. Motor rally has a terminal point, but the relationship between China and Pakistan is unending, from one victory to another, forging ahead, regardless of the wind or storm.

Time flies. I have been in Pakistan for three years now. During the past three years, the All Pakistan-China Friendship Association has made great contribution to promote exchanges and cultivate friendship between China and Pakistan. I feel honored to be your friend and witness the rapid and multi-faced development of China-Pakistan relations.  

During the past three years, on the political front, we maintain high-level exchanges, continue to support each other on the issues that involve each other's major interests, and promote to deepen and broaden our political relations. On the economic front, we fully unleash the potential of our business cooperation. The bilateral trade volume surmounts 12 billion US dollars in 2012. China and Pakistan have made fruitful achievements in all domains such as energy, infrastructure, technology and aerospace. On the cultural front, we have deepened the people-to-people exchanges, enhanced the cooperation in culture and education, and promoted China-Pakistan friendship to be deeply-rooted in our two people's heart.

Next month, I will reach the end of my term of office. It's time to say goodbye, although I cannot bear to part with all of you. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to you for the diligent cultivation and strong support to the development of China-Pakistan relationship.

At present, both China and Pakistan are striving for the the prosperity of the country, national rejuvenation and the happiness of the people. "The highest eminence is to be gained step by step." I would like to seize the opportunity for the promotion of China-Pakistan relations and realize both Chinese and Pakistani dreams with all of you.
