The official website of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is open for operation today. With latest information on Sino-Pak relations and basic facts about China and Pakistan in both English and Chinese covering political, economic, trade, cultural, consular and other affairs, the website is designed as a window and bridge for enhancing mutual understanding and expanding friendly cooperation between China and Pakistan, so as to help deepen the friendship among the two peoples and further promote the bilateral relations.

Linked with mountains and rivers, China and Pakistan are good friends, good neighbors and good partners. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1951, the two countries have been extending understandings, trust and support to each other and forged an "all-weather" friendship. The good-neighborly and friendly relationship has been constantly developing. Mutually-beneficial cooperation in various fields kept growing comprehensively. I believe, with the joint efforts of the two countries, the friendly cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan in an all-round way based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence will be further consolidated and strengthened.
