To join the worldwide humanitarian efforts of extending relief to the victims of the tsunamis-struck countries in the Indian Ocean region, a sum of US$ 27,000 has been donated by the diplomats of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Islamabad, Chinese journalists and employees of over 20 companies based in Islamabad and Lahore.

The donation will be transferred to the disaster-stricken areas through the International Red Cross Society.
