More than 500 students participated in the event. The posters displayed many exciting features of commonality and the friendship between the two nations. They used different art forms and techniques to express their feelings for Pak-China friendship, says a press release issued here on Sunday. Some outstanding creative works were visible amongst the participants. The most remarkable was the Pakistan-China friendship feeling which exuded in the group of students. Some had even gone to the lengths of learning Chinese script to know words for friendship, happiness and loyalty. Artistic work was done in all mediums, ranging from crayons, poster and oil paints to pencil. The artistic flavor of each mind could envision Pakistan China-some had children of Pakistan and China developing bonds of friendship, while others showed the flags of the two nations flying high, together. Some depicted their vision on mutual peace and harmony with doves and green trees and bright stars. Abstract designs were also visible which depicted a sense of harmony of color and strokes. National monuments were also shown in some pieces of art, depicting the gory of both nations. Some even brought a fairy tale effect to the vision with the pictures of birds and fairies, butterflies and flowers creating a scene of tranquility, showing the friendship mutual respect and understanding. The day would up with smiling beaming faces, chanting Pak-China Friendship slogan and wishing their Chinese brethren a grandstand celebration for the year 2009 on for the future. |
