During the year 2004

In January:

Four-member China Cultural Relics Delegation, led by Mr. Song Xinchao, Deputy Director General for Cultural Relics' Preservation, State Administration for Cultural Relics, visited Pakistan;

A swimming coach, Mrs. Li Hui, sent by China State Administration of Sports, came to Pakistan and assisted Pakistan Swimming Association in training women swimmers for 9th South Asian Games (SAG);

A four-member delegation, led by Mr. Li Zhijian, Vice Minister of China State Administration of Sports and Chairman of Asian Wushu Federation, visited Pakistan and explored, with relevant Pakistani official, the possibility of further promoting the cooperation in Wushu between the two countries;

At the invitation of Ministry of Culture, Federal Government of Pakistan, 30-member China Jiangxi Acrobatics delegation, headed by Mr. Cao Guoqing, Vice Director General for Culture, China Jiangxi Province, visited Pakistan and presented six shows in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi;

In March:

A 14-member Pakistan Volleyball delegation, led by the secretary of Pakistan Volleyball Federation, visited China shortly before 9th SAG;

Invited by the organizing committee of 9th SAG, China Hebei Liutong Pingpong Club visited Pakistan with its 8 members who had a friendship match with Pakistan national Pingpong team in Islamabad;

A delegation led by Mr. Li Bin, Secretary of CPC Committee of China Xinjiang Medical University, visited Pakistan;

A sports delegation led by Mr. Xu Deli, Vice Governor and Executive President of Bidding Committee for China Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games, visited Pakistan;

A 3-member film delegation led by Mr. Chen Yuanliang……visited Pakistan and presented a "Chinese Film Week" at the invitation of Pakistan Central Board for Film Censors;

In April:

Organized by China Scholarship Council, a 35-member Chinese education delegation visited Pakistan and put up a briefing in Islamabad on its upcoming educational exhibition in Pakistan;

Invited by Ministry of Youth Affairs, Federal Government of Pakistan, a high-level China youth delegation, headed by Mrs. Zhang Xiaolan, In-charge of All-China Youth Federation, visited Pakistan;

In June:

A 3-member delegation led by Mr. Sun Jianhua, Director of Asian Division, Department for International Cultural Relations, Ministry of Culture of China, visited Pakistan and assisted selecting performing personnel and programs for Beijing 6th Asian Art Festival;

In July:

The officials from CDA of Islamabad attended "Southern Xinjiang Tourism Festival" in Xinjiang, China;

All Pak-China Friendship Association (APCFA) held a celebration in Islamabad Club to mark 25th Anniversary of APCFA as well as 25th Anniversary of KKH Completion;

13-member Chinese press delegation, led by the officer of China Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited NUML Islamabad during their visit tour in Pakistan;

5-member China Cultural Relics Delegation, led by Mr. Shan Qixiang (Director General, China State Administration Bureau for Cultural Relics), visited Pakistan at the invitation of Ministry of Culture, Pakistan;

10-member Chinese student delegation from Urdu Department, Beijing University, visited Pakistan;

15-member delegation from "Society of Asian Civilizations Pakistan" visited Xinjiang, China;

22 students were sent by Pakistani Ministry of Education for study in China on government-financed basis;

In August:

Invited by China Association of Poems, two Pakistani famous poets (Mr. Iftikhar Arif and Aftab Iqbal Shamim) visited Xinjiang China for attending of Central Asia International Meeting for Poems;

Invited by Chinese Ministry of Culture, a 26-member performing-art troupe, led by Mr. Syed Javed Raza, Joint Secretary of Pakistani Ministry of Culture, visited China for the 6th Asia Arts Festival;

37 students were sent by Pakistani Ministry of Education to China to do their doctor's degree;

In September:

A 6-member delegation of Pak-China Friendship Association NWFP visited China;

In collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts, the Chinese Embassy presented a photographic and handicraft exhibition entitled "Casting Your Eyes to China" in National Art Gallery of Pakistan;

A 4-member TV producers' delegation from China CCTV visited Pakistan and presented a "Chinese TV Week" here;

In October:

In honor of 55th Founding Anniversary of P.R. China, Rawalpindi Arts Council organized a song and dancing show at the Council;

In collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts, the Chinese Embassy presented a photographic and handicraft exhibition entitled "Casting Your Eyes to China" in Shakir Ali Museum Lahore;

In November:

A 6-member delegation from the Information Office, the State Council of China, headed by Mr. Wang Guoqing, Deputy Director of the Information Office, the State Council of China, visited Pakistan;

A 5-member Pakistani writers' delegation, led by the Pakistani famous writer Mr. Mushtaq Yousufi, visited China;

In December:

In collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts, the Chinese Embassy presented a photographic and handicraft exhibition entitled "Casting Your Eyes to China" in Peshawar.
