The Red Cross Society of China Make Donations to
Red Crescent Society of Pakistan for Emergency Earthquake Relief

On 30 September, Madam Pang Chunxue, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy met with Mr. Khalid Bin Majeed, Secretary General of the Red Crescent Society of Pakistan, to hand over donations from the Red Cross Society of China for humanitarian emergency earthquake relief to Pakistan.

Madam Pang Chunxue conveyed the condolences to the victims and their families, hoped the wounded and the affected a quick recovery. Pang said, China and Pakistan always helped and supported each other. The Chinese government, society and the Chinese people are always ready to help Pakistan in times of need. We believe that under the strong leadership of the Pakistani Government, the people of Pakistan will overcome the disaster and rebuild their home at the earliest.

Mr. Majeed thanked the Red Cross Society of China and the Chinese people of its kind assistance. He said China is the first to come to help in the aftermath of the recent earthquake. Red Crescent Society of Pakistan are committed to the earthquake relief work and will make good use of the donation received.
