On evening of July 8, four Chinese citizens were attacked by unidentified gunmen at Peshawar, Capital of NWFP, Pakistan, of which 3 were killed and one was seriously wounded. Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Luo Zhaohui has strongly condemned this violent incident, required the Pakistani side to investigate it, round up the culprits, properly handle the follow-up issues and take effective measures to protect all the Chinese in Pakistan.

Mr. Mao Siwei, Deputy Chief of Chinese Mission in Pakistan, has gone together with some other Chinese Diplomats to Peshawar for dealing with the issue.
